Our Story

Lara Law Firm was established on January 3, 2005 with Roxanne "Rocky" Lara bringing her experience in litigation and family law to this solo law office.  The following year, Lara Law Firm received the New Business of the Year award from the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.  A few years later, Rocky was recognized as the Best Lawyer in Carlsbad in the "Best of Carlsbad" awards.

Lara Law Firm has received awards from community organizations for Rocky's work with veteran's issues, women's leadership and dedication to the State of New Mexico.  

Rocky is a trained trial attorney, but knows that the courtroom is not always the best place to resolve family issues.  Keeping that in mind, the Lara Law Firm team works with you to determine the best way to achieve your goal, whether it be in the courtroom, in mediation or negotiation.  Rocky, Eileen and Patricia actively communicate with you throughout the entire case to make sure everyone is always on the same page with case approach, strategies and goals.
